Privacy
Effective September 24, 2026. This notice covers guardcardatlas.com, run by the Guard Card Atlas team.
The short version
- No sign-up, no accounts, and no forms that send data to us.
- We don't set cookies and we don't store anything in your browser's local storage.
- Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, described below.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical details every browser sends with a page request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. It processes them to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics
Our host adds a small Cloudflare Web Analytics script to each page. It reports things like which pages are viewed, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type, and it gives us totals only. Cloudflare says the service doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't fingerprint visitors. We use the totals to see which states people read about. We can't identify you from them, and we don't combine them with anything else.
If you block the script with a browser extension, the site works exactly the same.
If you email [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to fix what you report, and we don't add you to any list.
Links to other sites
Our source links go to state agencies and other official publishers, which have their own privacy practices.
Your choices and questions
We don't keep personal data tied to you from site visits, so there's usually nothing for us to look up or delete. For anything about an email you sent us, or any other privacy question, write to [email protected].
Changes
If what we collect changes (for example, if we add advertising), we'll update this page and its effective date before the change goes live.
